Translation
kanji/kana: 日のもと の 名 に あふ とて や 照らすらん
romaji: hinomoto no na ni afu tote ya terasuran
Translation: Of course you shine, this is the home of the sun.
kanji/kana: ふらざらば 又 あめが下 か は
romaji: furazaraba mata amegashita ka wa
Translation: And if it didn't rain, how could we be under heaven.

izumi shikibu
hi no kami is the kami of the sun. In common with the Northern Europeans' sun, the Japanese sun is female. hi no kami helps BABA YAGA watch over the shi-yaku-jin during the day.
