A Gender Explosion

Since Mentoring Elders first dicussion of gender, twenty two years ago, there has been an dramatic increase in the number of genders being talked about. Mostly this has come about due to the gains made by the LGBTQIA2S+ communities in public recognition and acceptance. Perhaps the most prominent was gaining the right to marry. Still the acceptance is far from universal, witness the opposition mounted against Trans people. All this basically means is that the old idea of just two genders is dead.
